TASK CARDS
Each task card has a short word problem that requires students to determine the elapsed time, the beginning time, or the ending time based on the interval that has passed. Includes hour, half hour, quarter hour, and 5 minute intervals.
There are 2 sets of task cards. The questions are the same, but one set has multiple-choice answers while the other has open-response.

WORKSHEET
This is a one-page activity that has four elapsed time word problems with space to solve and show work. This can be used for independent practice, homework, or a short assessment.

These are very well written! I’d definitely say they aren’t for students who are new to elapsed time or are still working on gaining an understanding of time in general. I think these will be great once my students get more practice with the skill! I like that they are multiple choice.
