Differentiated Literacy Centers

-
Level 2 – Students match sentences containing a homonym with the picture that illustrates its meaning. Easier than center 1 because the target homonym is highlighted in each sentence.
Matching Cards
These can be used as room visuals or for instruction. Includes picture cards with sentences. The target homonym is highlighted in each sentence. The cards can be left whole or cut apart for a matching activity. These cards will fit in pocket charts with the long pockets.
Worksheets
-
Level 1 – Students cut-and-paste homonyms under the matching pictures.
-
Level 2 – Students cut-and-paste the correct picture next to each sentence.
