Homophones Poster
This is an anchor chart that includes the definition and an illustrated example to help students understand what a homophone is. Includes both full-color and black-and-white versions.
Homophones Worksheets

Level 1 – Students cut-and-paste homophones under the matching pictures.

Level 2 – Students determine whether the homophones are nouns or verbs and use them in sentences.

Level 3 – Students cut-and-paste the correct definition next to each homophone.
Activities / Literacy Centers

Level 1 – Students match sentences containing a homophone to the picture that matches the target word.

Level 2 – Similar to level 1 except the sentence cards are cloze sentences that require students to use context to determine the correct homophone. They must match each sentence to its corresponding picture card and word card.
These centers are provided in both full-color and black-and-white versions to meet your printing needs.
