Multiplication Fact Fluency Practice and Drills
Are your students struggling to learn their multiplication facts? This math resource includes tricks and strategies to help students build multiplication fact fluency and move towards memorization. It also includes timed tests or drills for facts 0 to 12.
What’s Included:
Strategies Practice
These pages explain number patterns associated with each set of facts. Each page includes space for students to practice the strategy. These are ideal for students who have not yet memorized their facts and need a faster way to solve than counting on their fingers or drawing models. Also includes a few handy “tricks” for remembering facts such as the 9s finger trick.
Fluency Practice and Timed Drills
There are two types of worksheets in this section. The Multiples Madness pages challenge students to write multiples of each number as quickly as possible. The Speed Tests ask students to write the product for each fact as quickly as possibly – first in order from 0 to 12 and then in random order. There are 3 timed test for each set of facts.
Multiplication Charts
Includes blank and filled charts for facts through 12. There are also partially filled charts that show students just how many facts they already know and the ones that need to be learned. These are great for kids who are overwhelmed by the idea of memorizing their multiplication facts.
Multiplication Rules Reference Sheet
This is a page of rules that help students learn and practice number patterns related to multiplication facts.
Answer keys are included for the fluency drills.
